Short Term Disability Insurance
UNM is offering a new short-term disability
plan through Standard Insurance Company. Short-term disability covers up
to 60% of your pre-disability earnings if you are unable to work due to
disability caused by an accident or illness. Short-term disability
payments are available once you have been disabled for 30 days and are
payable for a maximum duration of 22 weeks. Short-term disability is a
voluntary benefit and is 100% employee paid.

Standard Short Term Disability Insurance Booklet for plan information and details about the late entrant penalty. Late entrant penalty applies for first twelve months of coverage.
