UNM Staff Salary Structure Table Effective 01-01-09
Effective January 1, 2009, the table shown below becomes the new salary structure for non-bargaining unit staff at UNM. This structure incorporates the $9.00 per hour minimum wage set in 2008 by the Board of Regents for all UNM staff employees.
NOTE TO DEPARTMENTS: Because of the introduction of the new staff minimum wage, pay grades 1 and 2 are no longer relevant and have been dropped from the new salary structure. All non-bargaining unit position classifications that were previously assigned to grades 1 and 2 have been reassigned to grade 3.
All department hiring decisions and salary proposals related to non-bargaining unit staff should now be made in accordance with this structure.
