In identifying positions for background checks one or more of the following conditions must exist: Responsibility for the care, safety, and security of people or University property; Have access to negotiable instruments, confidential or personal records or information; handle certain agents or controlled substances; Operate vehicles and machinery which could cause health problems, injury or death; have the authority to commit Univeristy financial resources; Have key or other access to University-owned residences, multiple facilities, or other sensitive locations; Responsibility for institutional information systems and/or computer security; Routine and unsupervised physical or financial access to any patients and/or access involved in the provision of child care services; Compliance with contracts, grants, laws, state, and federal regulations.
