Employee Health Promotion Program
As part of the Division of Human Resources, Employee Health Promotion
Program (EHPP) exists to serve the people who serve the mission of the
University of New Mexico. Some services are free, while others have a
low-cost fee. Please contact the relevant area for fee information. We
encourage all faculty, staff, and their families to take advantage of
the programs we have to offer. Most services are available for ages 18
and over.
Vision
To develop a culture of wellness that empowers our colleagues to make
lifelong healthy choices.
Mission
UNM's Employee Health Promotion Program provides wellness initiatives
that enhance our colleagues' quality of life and contribute towards
improving employee morale, productivity, and the management of health
care costs.
Programs specifically address the following issues in population
health:
- Improving preventive care with health screenings and education
- Risk reduction with increased physical activity
- Risk reduction with improved healthy eating
- Risk reduction with stress management
- Risk reduction with decreased tobacco use
