Tobacco Cessation
Want to quit smoking or using tobacco? Quitting tobacco is a complex process and sometimes it takes several quit attempts to get it right. At EHPP, our motto about quitting tobacco is: “Never quit quitting!”
UNM employees and their adult family members can take advantage of FREE individual tobacco treatment counseling at either Employee Occupational Health Services located at the Family Practice Center or at the EHPP offices located at Johnson Center. Sessions are focused on individual needs and usually last 30-45 minutes. Topics of discussion often include nicotine replacement therapy, formulating a good quit plan and emotional support. Call Rhonda Miranda at 277-4996 to sign up for your appointment.
