How do I log in to Retirement Manager?

In Retirement Manager, you can enroll in either a 403b or a 457b annuity plan, or you can change your existing payroll deduction. If you have an existing annuity account with one of the current five vendors, you will be able to see your balance to-date. You will be able to calculate your retirement income based upon various income sources for you and your spouse/partner. You can do event planning for the major milestones in life such as marriage, a new baby, a new job or a second job, empty nest, or pre-retirement. There’s a financial education section that includes, among other things, a glossary of retirement terms. In the financial tools section, you can do a paycheck comparison, a college cost calculator, or determine whether a Roth IRA or a traditional IRA would be better for you.

What do I do when I forget my password?

If you forget your password, simply click on the “I Forgot My Password” link on the top right side of the login page for Retirement Manager. You will be given instructions on how to proceed to get a new password.

Is my ERB/ARP retirement information in Retirement Manager?

No, the amounts from the Educational Retirement Board (ERB) or the Alternative Retirement Plan (ARP) are not included in Retirement Manager. However, you may include the amount when calculating projection amounts for retirement planning.

What financial planner tools are available in Retirement Manager?

There is a tab titled “Your Retirement” in Retirement Manager that allows you to list all the Retirement Income Sources for yourself and your spouse/partner. Also included in this tab is a section titled, “Am I on Target”, which allows you to project your income values based on your projected retirement age.

Can I access Retirement Manager without going through LoboWeb?

Yes, you can access Retirement Manager directly by going to https://www.myretirementmanager.com/.

Can I change my investment allocations with my chosen vendor with Retirement Manager?

Any changes to investment allocations will need to be made directly with the vendor and cannot be made with Retirement Manager. However, you can link directly to the vendor sites through Retirement Manager.

Can I change the amount deducted from my paycheck for my 403b or 457b via Retirement Manager?

Yes, the amount of the 403b or the 457b deduction may be changed by utilizing Retirement Manager. Please see Fast Info answer 5721 on how to Enroll or Make Changes.

Is there a limit to how many times I can change 403b or 457b vendors?

No, there is no limit to how many times you may change vendors.

What happens when I reach my annual contribution limits?

Payroll deductions will cease when the annual contribution limits are reached. However, if you have made any contributions to a tax annuity outside of UNM, you will need to verify you do not exceed your annual contribution limits.
