This month’s learning opportunities center on skills that help us work smarter, lead with confidence, and continue building a supportive environment that fosters growth for our teams. With a Hungry Minds Café session on Mastering Delegation, a Career Development course, and two Project Management classes, April gives us a chance to reflect, learn, and plan for the future.
This month’s Hungry Minds Café (HMC) focuses on how effective delegation builds trust, develops others’ skills, and prevents burnout. The session will be held on April 7 from noon to 1 p.m. To register, click here.
Our April Career Development course provides space to reflect on personal strengths, identify areas for growth, and design a meaningful path forward. This course is for any employee who wants to invest in their development and help their department succeed. When each of us grows, we all grow. Career Development will be offered April 14 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. To register, click here.
This month’s Project Management courses offer practical strategies that employees can use immediately. Whether it’s building timelines, tracking milestones, or coordinating people and priorities. These courses will help you set clear plans and expectations, create a workplace where projects move forward with less stress and more collaboration. Project Management will be offered April 21 and April 23 from 9 a.m. to noon. To register, click here.
Evaluations become most meaningful when they are grounded in the same principles we are emphasizing this April: thoughtful planning, shared responsibility, continuous growth, and honest reflection. As a reminder, performance evaluations are due this month. If you have any questions, please reach out to pep@unm.edu.
We encourage everyone to take advantage of these offerings—whether to build new skills, refresh current ones, or plan the next step in your career journey.
