The University of New Mexico is offering the following medical and dental plans to eligible retirees for 2017:

- BCBS HMO Medicare Advantage Plan I (Enhanced) or Plan II (Standard)*
- Presbyterian HMO-POS Medicare Advantage Premier Plan or Select Plan
- BlueCross BlueShield PPO Medicare Advantage Plan
- AARP Medicare Supplement Plan “F” with “Preferred” MedicareRx Prescription Drug Plan (PDP)**
- Delta Dental Premier or PPO Plan

**AARP Medicare Supplement Plan F is available in all US states with the exception of MA, MN, and WI. In those three states, alternate UNM-approved Medicare supplement plans are available as a substitute for Plan F. UNM’s AARP Medicare RxPreferred Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) is available in all US states. Participants must enroll in both Plan F (or the approved alternate plan for MA, MN, and WI) and RxPreferred PDP plans concurrently through the UNM HR Benefits office, and remain enrolled in both plans to be eligible for the UNM 30% premium contribution, if applicable.
Please Note: Retirees and dependents who are enrolled in the AARP Medicare Supplement Plan F and Medicare RxPreferred PDP must contact United Health Care directly to re-enroll in the Medicare RxPreferred PDP in their new state of residence. UNM Benefits is not able to re-enroll the retiree or dependents(s) in the RxPreferred PDP plan for their new state. Retirees can remain enrolled in the UNM AARP Medicare Supplement Plan F (or alternate plan for MA, MN, and WI) if moving from the state of enrollment to other states nationwide.
