How is overtime allotted?
- Non-union: Management discretion
- CWA (see Article 8)
- Staff are offered OT within their job title and work unit (as defined by management) first on the basis of seniority and then on the basis of the least number of OT hours credited to each employee. Overtime hours refused will be considered time credited.
- The most readily available employee may be utilized for emergency OT. Emergency OT is not counted on the list of OT credited.
- US-UNM (see article 12 section H)
- Employees will be offered overtime work within their position classification and work unit, first on the basis of seniority and then on the basis of the least number of overtime hours credited or offered to each employee. Different provisions apply to the Office of Medical Investigations Bargaining Unit.
- All OT is counted towards OT credited.
