Monitor Progress
Scheduling regular one-on-one meetings with employees will help in monitoring progress of goal completion. Have the employee use the One-on-One Status Report Form to document status updates on goals and duties. Meeting regularly and using the one-on-one form will help managers:
- Stay up-to-date with daily operations
- Encourage ongoing performance discussions
- Openly discuss strengths and areas of improvement
- Serve as a discussion documentation tool for the employee and the manager
