2009 Flexible Spending Account
Expenditure Deadline - March 15, 2010
If you have money left over in your 2009 FSA account, you have a Grace Period until March 15, 2010 to incur expenses using your remaining 2009 funds. If you enrolled in FSA for the 2010 Calendar Year and use your debit card, any remaining balance from your 2009 account will be used before accessing your 2010 funds. Stanley, Hunt, Dupree, and Rhine (SHDR) must receive paper claims by May 31, 2010 in order for you to be reimbursed from your 2009 account. LoboWeb is a great tool that is accessible 24/7, where you can view your Pay Stub, W-2, Benefits Statement, and Leave Balances. By reviewing the information available on LoboWeb, you can ensure your Pay Stub and Benefit Statements are accurate. To access LoboWeb:
- Click here: https://my.unm.edu
- Enter your UNM NetID and Password
- Click the “Employee Life” tab
- Click the LoboWeb logo in the center of the screen

Making Changes to your Insurance Benefits
Opportunities to make changes to your medical, dental, vision, and flexible spending accounts (FSA) outside of an Open Enrollment period are allowed only when you experience an IRS recognized Qualifying Change in Family Status. If you experience a Qualifying Change of Family Status event, you must make appropriate changes to your benefits in writing within 31 calendar days from the event.
