Help us celebrate our inspiring graduates by volunteering for 2026 UNM Spring Commencement, May 15 and 16. The Office of the University Secretary is seeking staff as volunteers for the two spring semester commencement ceremonies taking place on Friday, May 15 beginning at 6 p.m. and Saturday, May 16 beginning at 9 a.m. Both ceremonies will be held at the Pit.
Volunteering is a wonderful way to be a part of UNM’s most significant tradition. There are a variety of volunteer positions available, with varying time commitments to fit your schedule.
Friday night’s event will be held for Masters and Doctoral students, and Saturday morning's event will be held for undergraduate students.
Anyone interested in volunteering can view the positions available, dates, times and can sign up at our Volunteer registration site. Volunteers will be invited to attend a short meeting and will be provided with instructions and special parking information.
