2017 Performance Evaluation Process: Pilot Information
We are excited about testing this online version of the Performance Evaluation Process (PEP)! Thank you for your participation. Your feedback will help us ensure that when the system rolls out across the university, it addresses our need for a robust, streamlined performance evaluation process. We'll be asking for your feedback at various points during the pilot, but we welcome your feedback at any time. Please feel free to share your thoughts with Employee & Organizational Development
Accessing the Online PEP System
You’ll receive direct communications that will step you through the process of participating in the pilot. However, you should know that you can access the PEP system at any time by logging in to UNMJobs. If you’re not sure how to do so, just click here for a job aid.

Performance Evaluation Timeline
- Mid-November - December 31, 2017
- Employees enter 2017 goals into the system
- January 1, 2018:
- Manager: unless your direct reports include US-UNM eligible members, whether or not self-evaluations are required of your employees is at your (or your departments’) discretion.
- Managers will be notified via email when one of your direct reports completes their self-evaluation.
- Managers can access and begin the evaluation process for each of your employees at any time after January 5, 2018.
- February 2018
- Managers complete employee evaluation(s), schedule and conduct one-on-one meetings to review the evaluation during this time. Keep in mind that you don’t have to have the evaluation completed to schedule the meeting! Get these meetings on the calendar early so you are not doing them all at once.
- March 15th, 2018
