In HR we strive to be a partner to UNM’s employees and managers. Our mission is to “deliver exceptional service and resources to make employees’ lives better every day” and our vision is to “create a culture where our employees are engaged and empowered.”
As the Vice President for HR, one of my key objectives is to identify business needs and see to it that HR meets those needs in the most effective and cost-efficient ways. We strive to leverage technology and pursue innovation in our processes and functions to help employees excel in their careers at UNM.
As our Strategic Plan states, HR is first and foremost about people. We continually aim to enhance the quality and consistency of the services and resources we provide to cultivate a respectful and inclusive work environment, representative of the cultures and diversity of our great institution.
As the world of work is ever evolving and increasingly becoming more complicated, HR seeks to manage compliance and business needs with practical solutions. Therefore, if I can assist in making your job just a little bit better, I invite you to contact me personally.
