Dorothy Anderson is the Vice President for Human Resources for the University of New Mexico. She is proud to represent over 70 human resource professionals serving our campus community. Her oversight involves the following key areas: Benefits and Wellness, Client Services, Compensation, Employee & Labor Relations, Employee & Organizational Development, HR Finance and Business Services, and HR Information Technology. In this capacity, she is responsible for human resources services delivered to the university serving 25,816 students and 23,322 employees.
She has over 25 years of experience in public education in New Mexico and human resources, including 17 years in K-12 education and eight years in higher education. Today, she leads the Division of Human Resources at UNM by identifying business needs and aligning them with HR’s Mission and Vision, and the Regent’s Guiding Principles.
