Approximately 59% of UNM Employees have completed their 2024 mandatory trainings! Have you?
The deadline to complete these trainings has been extended to Jan. 31, 2025. Please ensure you complete your required courses as soon as possible. These trainings are vital for maintaining a safe, informed, and inclusive workplace here at UNM.
This year, the following courses are mandatory:
· MT 2024E or MT 2024S: Prevention of Harassment and Discrimination
· BAST 2024: Basic Annual Safety Training - 2024
· ACSH 2024: Active Shooter on Campus: Run, Hide, Fight - 2024
· SANS Security Awareness Training 2024: Securing the Human
These trainings only take approximately two hours to complete and are already available in your Learning Central training plan. To make it easier for employees, live training options for certain courses, including Basic Annual Safety Training (BAST) and Active Shooter Training, will also be offered. Why is this important?
These courses provide critical information on workplace safety, from accident prevention and harassment awareness to handling active shooter scenarios and enhancing cybersecurity. All employees, including regular and temporary staff, faculty, on-call workers, and student employees, must complete them.
