Phase I - Plan (Beginning of a New Period)
During the planning process, employees and managers will work together to set performance expectations for the upcoming review period. Each employee should know what they need to do to be successful in their job.
To begin the planning process, you and your manager will review overall expectations for the upcoming year. This should include identifying specific goals and/or duties, reviewing expectations for each value, and reviewing career development goals and required/job specific training. This phase helps to direct your efforts toward achieving specific results to support organizational excellence and success.
- Note: You are responsible for communicating proactively with your manager about your needs for resources and support.
