The University of New Mexico is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Sarah Belle Brown Community Service Awards!

Nomination Deadline: Feb. 20, by 5 p.m.

This prestigious award recognizes UNM faculty, staff, and students who demonstrate exceptional social responsibility through significant contributions of personal time and effort to advance UNM’s public service mission.

Award Details

  • Who is Eligible? Faculty, staff, and students who have gone above and beyond the scope of their professional or academic assignments at UNM to engage in meaningful community service.
  • Award Amount: Each recipient will receive a $1,500 cash award.
  • Nomination Process: Submissions will be blind-reviewed by a diverse panel of faculty, staff, and students.
