Each month EOD offers an interactive, instructor-led training course to help further your professional development. These courses are available to you as part of your UNM benefits!

Course: Building Relationships

About: Relationships are built through everyday moments of trust, clarity, and care. In this fast, practical session, you’ll learn simple tools to connect across roles, navigate tough conversations, and bounce back when things get bumpy. We’ll blend relationship basics such as listening that lands, clear requests, healthy boundaries with resilience skills like stress resets, mindset shifts, and recovery habits. The skills learned in this course will give you the tools to show up at your best, consistently.

Time: 1:15 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. | Nov. 4

Course: Creating Empathy

About: In order to commit to becoming a more inclusive leader, you must first personally understand the problem of exclusion. In this immersive course, you will experience firsthand what it's like to be excluded and then engage in a candid and open discussion on personal experiences with inclusion and exclusion.

With a shared understanding of the problem, you will learn more about what a culture of inclusion looks like, why it's important, and what we can do to help create one.

Time: 10 a.m. – noon | Nov. 20
