UNM HEaRT Classes August-December 2025Did you know the outcome of a medical emergency can be improved by early intervention from a trained bystander? Get your UNM Heart Emergency and Rescue Training (HEaRT) certification and sharpen your decision-making skills while learning CPR, AED use and other first aid techniques. HEaRT training provides the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to manage a medical emergency until emergency responders arrive.
UNM HEaRT offers two-year certifications for faculty, staff, students and community members. Tuition remission is accepted.
Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED/Basic First Aid - $95
- Monday, Oct. 26 noon to 5 p.m.
- Monday, Nov. 30 noon to 5 p.m.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals - $100
- Wednesday, Nov. 4 noon to 5 p.m.
- Wednesday, Dec. 9 noon to 5 p.m.
