UKG Pro Workforce Management (UKG WFM) Timekeeping System Training

HR, IT and Payroll continue to make progress toward implementing the new unified timekeeping system using UKG’s WFM with an anticipated go live date of Nov. 1. As we continue to ramp up for implementation, it is time for us to share our plans for training the campus for using the new tool.

High Level Training and Support Plan

UNM will initiate a comprehensive, role-based training program beginning in August, continuing through the November launch and beyond. Training includes three phases:

  • Pre-Learning (August): Introductory videos, job aids, and practice exercises intended to provide brief introductions to WFM. During this time, we will also be working with departments to develop subject matter expertise to ensure training and support is available within departments.
  • Primary Learning (September-October): Online training modules, departmental training sessions, user guides, daily task checklists and other modalities tailored to employees, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Post-Learning (Ongoing): Continued access to job aids and support materials to continue to reinforce learning.

To get started, we are providing links to some initial short learning modules and highly encourage you use the “Try It” simulations to get a glimpse of the new system.
