UNM Staff Salary Structure
HR Compensation conducts periodic reviews of UNM’s staff salary range structure to address observed market changes and best practices, as stipulated in the UNM Vision Statement for Compensating Staff Employees.
Effective August 20, 2016, UNM’s staff salary structure has been adjusted to better align with a consistent pay range spread of 100%. This approach aligns with best practices for managing salary range structures.
When the staff salary structure is adjusted, there is no impact on individual salaries for employees whose current pay rates are within the revised ranges. However, in the cases where staff employee salaries fall below the minimum of the adjusted range, salaries are adjusted up to the new minimum of the respective grades.
