The Non-Bargaining Staff Salary Range Structure is reviewed annually for market competitiveness. As a result of these reviews the ranges may be adjusted.
Employees do not receive individual pay increases as a result of salary range adjustments unless their salaries fall below the new range minimum for their respective pay grade. If the range structure increase is concurrent with a Mass Salary Update, the increase would be applied only if the employee's pay rate remains below the range minimum after the MSU increase is applied.
