A transfer is defined as a noncompetitive lateral move from one (1) job to another, or one (1) geographical location to another, in the same or similar classification within the same job grade. A transfer does not involve a salary change.
Transfers that occur as part of a reorganization of departments or services may result in a salary increase in accordance with Section 3.1.
