Commit to healthful foods at the department level. Include the following statement in your department or division's statement of purpose to formally establish that healthy behaviors are valued in your workplace:

We provide opportunities to make healthy eating decisions by encouraging the selection of fresh, wholesome foods, recognizing special dietary needs, and supporting sustainable practices.

Some of your attendees may have food restrictions, such as lactose intolerance, celiac disease, or peanut allergies. Don't leave their health to chance - label your foods, clearly indicating what foods are safe to eat.
