Starting July 1, 2026, Express Scripts® Pharmacy Benefit Services will administer prescription drug benefits for UNM employees, pre 65 retirees, and their families who are enrolled in UNM LoboHealth (through BCBSNM) or Presbyterian Health Plan. The last day to fill prescriptions through CVS Caremark® will be June 30, 2026. Additional details and resources can be found on the Open Enrollment webpage.
All active benefits eligible employees, pre-65 retirees, and their dependents who are enrolled in a UNM medical plan are automatically enrolled in UNM’s prescription drug plan provided by Express Scripts® Pharmacy Benefit Services.
Our prescription drug plan ensures you have access to high-quality, cost-effective medications through a network of retail pharmacies and by offering convenient home delivery of those medications you take on a regular basis.
See the Formulary document below for a list of the most commonly prescribed drugs or contact Express Scripts® Member Services to obtain specific copay and coinsurance information for covered medications. The Express Scripts® website also allows participants to enter a specific drug and related regimen information to receive cost information, including mail-order prices.
Prescription Drug ID Cards will be created for and mailed to the primary member by Express Scripts®. All plan participants must use the card with the primary member’s name since dependents do not receive their own cards.
Provide your ID card to your pharmacist when ordering or picking up prescriptions.
